“去医院”别说成“go to hospital”！会吓坏外国朋友的
医院是最忙碌的地方，医疗工作者是最忙碌的人群。不少人生病吃药没效果，就只能去医院打针输液了，严重的甚至还要住院......说到“去医院”的英语，你是不是一下就想到了“go to hospital”呢？
但注意！这句话其实是中式英文！老外看病一般不这样说。

1.go to hospital & go to a hospital
两者的差别仅仅是一个冠词，但含义大不相同。
go to hospital
如前所述，这个词语通常用于表示 “去医院看病或住院治疗” ，成为医院的住院患者。常用于病情较为严重或需要专业医疗护理的情境。

3."Leave the hospital"≠出院
“出院”能不能直接说“leave the hospital”呢？这是一种比较宽泛的说法，无论因为什么原因从医院离开都是“leave the hospital”，容易引发歧义。
通常情况下，出院的表达是“discharge oneself from hospital/be discharged from the hospital”。“discharge”也可以换成“release”。
